Searching for the Presence of God?

Searching for the
Presence of God?

It has been taught that God will be found in books, temples, holy places.

One searches, during his lifetime, for God in many places. Some travel across the ocean and around the world in search of answers to an unknown inner longing of knowing God.

Because Orthodox religion teaches God is to be found in heavenly places, many believe they’ll finally find and be experiencing God when their human life here on earth is absolved.

One’s human life is filled with so many human activities, is it no wonder they never find Him? To be still and listen reveals God to be right here, where “I AM”.

I foolishly thought there was some magic psychological formula in life to let me be who I thought I was and still be who others thought me to be.

My thinking at that time was that there are two different “schools of thought” about life, and that I could bring God into mine!

These are the effects, however. And, although one enjoys the effects of honeysuckle, cultivation of honeysuckle is not normally found in the average garden.
